Wearing Mask Guideline As A Protection From The Covid-19 In The Tanjung Berkat Ujung Residents

Abstract

Lately, a small virus measuring 0.125 micrometers is ravaging the world, namely Covid-19 or known as the corona virus. The transfer of Covid-19 between humans can be through respiratory sprays and direct contact. Respiratory splash occurs when a person coughs or sneezes. Anyone who is within a radius of approximately 1m with a person showing respiratory symptoms such as coughing or sneezing, is at risk of exposure to respiratory droplets which may cause infection with the virus. The use of masks is one of the precautions that can limit the spread of certain respiratory diseases caused by viruses, including Covid-19. The methods used when this activity took place were providing education and information; Delivery Media; Demonstrate; and Distributing Masks. The author found some residents who do not know the truth of the rumors circulating about the use of masks so far, one of the rumors that most people know is wearing masks upside down for people who are sick, for normal people to wear masks normally too. Activities have been carried out well and run smoothly, and the response of citizens who are also open and can receive exposure to information given by the author is good too.
