Abstract

Antibiotics are drugs that are included in hard drugs that can only be obtained by prescription. Inaccurate use of antibiotics can be harmful to the body because it can cause resistance. Resistance is the ability of bacteria to inhibit antibiotic action. The high number of deaths due to resistance aims to provide education to the public about the importance of using antibiotics appropriately. Besides, drug storage is the focus of this community service because people still keep drugs carelessly. The method used in this outreach is to provide education to the community online and offline. This was welcomed and received a positive response because it could increase public knowledge about the wise use of antibiotics and correct home medicine storage. Conclusion: providing education is very important to increase public awareness of the wise management of medicines at home
