Abstract
The Student Study Service (KKN) is a form of community to service that is carried out in the face of the COVID-19 outbreak. KKN is carried out individually, located in the area where the student lives. Based on the results of research in the field, it was found that there was a lack of understanding of the COVID-19 virus and the prevention of COVID-19. Prevention efforts will work well if we invite the public to participate actively. This activity aims to distribute masks, hand sanitizers and also to give information about COVID-19 to rise the awarness of people from Sungai Gempa. The methods used include identifying people who are prone to infection and have a high risk of infection, buying mask, making a leaflet about COVID-19, packaging mask and, followed by distributing gifts to the community. After distributing the mask 10 people are gathered for counseling about how to use and wash non-medical mask. It is hoped that this activity can help people protect themselves from COVID-19.The results of this service program can be seen with people who have a better understanding and knowledge of the community that increases after this community service is carried out.
