Tahun 2020 yang sangat mengkhawatirkan bagi seluruh negara di dunia termasuk Indonesia. Hal tersebut disebabkan munculnya virus corona atau wabah covid-19 yang berasal dari kota Wuhan, China. Salah satu penyebab penularan Covid-19 adalah minimnya pengetahuan masyarakat tentang Covid-19. Oleh karena itu, untuk menambah pengetahuan masyarakat diperlukan metode yang baik dan benar berupa edukasi hingga titik terjauh. Pendidikan ini disosialisasikan hingga ke pelosok desa. Namun, fakta korban Covid-19 terus berkembang. Dalam waktu singkat serangan virus ini semakin meningkat.

Metode yang digunakan adalah sosialisasi, edukasi dengan pendekatan observasi dan wawancara yang dilakukan dengan masyarakat Desa Panca Karya. Alalak. Kemudian di beberapa tempat strategis di desa dipasang poster tentang pentingnya penerapan protokol kesehatan 4M, dan cara pencegahan Covid-19.

Dari hasil sosialisasi dapat disimpulkan bahwa mayoritas masyarakat tidak peduli dengan wabah virus corona, dengan sosialisasi yang dilakukan masyarakat mulai memahami dan memahami pentingnya protokol kesehatan untuk menghindari wabah korona. wabah virus atau covid-19.

ABSTRACT

This is the year 2020 which is very worrying for all countries in the world including Indonesia. This was due to the emergence of the corona virus or covid-19 outbreak which originated from the city of Wuhan, China. One of the causes of the transmission of Covid-19 is the lack of public knowledge of Covid-19. Therefore, to increase public knowledge requires a good and correct method in the form of education to the farthest point. This education is socialized to remote villages. However, the facts of Covid-19 victims continue to grow. In a short time, this virus attack is increasing.

The method used is socialization, education by means of observational approaches and interviews conducted with the Panca Karya village community. Alalak. Then in several strategic places in the village, posters were installed regarding the importance of implementing the 4M health protocol, and how to prevent Covid-19. From the results of the socialization, it can be concluded that the majority of people don't care about the corona virus outbreak, with the socialization that is being carried out, residents begin to understand and understand the importance of health protocols to avoid the corona virus or covid-19 outbreak.
