Abstract
The spread of COVID-19 that has hit Indonesia has had an impact on several aspects of life, one of which is in the health sector. During the COVID-19 pandemic, health centers and hospitals limit health services to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission. Self-medicated activities are expected to be able to handle various problems with complaints of symptoms and minor illnesses so as to be able to limit visits to hospitals or community health centers with the hope of being able to break the chain of transmission of COVID-19. Self-medication, namely treating all complaints of symptoms or illnesses by using drugs that can be purchased at pharmacies or drugstores without a doctor's prescription on one's own initiative or self-awareness. The method carried out has 3 stages, namely the planning stage in the form of preparing leaflet material, making leaflets and printing leaflets, the implementation stage namely distributing leaflets and providing self-medicated education during the COVID-19 pandemic, and evaluation in the implementation of activities. In its implementation, not all residents allow education. Some residents were worried about our arrival as they thought that we are asking for flood donations and also the COVID-19 vaccination provider, but many residents are also enthusiastic about the information that we delivered. The understanding of local residents is quite good, it just needs a little information to be emphasized, such as in the use of the medicine.
