Abstract
Medicinal Plant Families (TOGA) are one of the local wisdom owned by the community in solving problems it faces, especially those related to public health. The condition of cultivation and understanding of TOGA in the Tanjung Berkat Ujung area is still lacking, so that community service activities are carried out which are expected to have a positive impact to arouse the enthusiasm and motivation of the community to increase the use of TOGA. The method used in this service is a literature study, field survey, interview, data processing, data analysis. The results of this service activity show that there are some people in Tanjung Berkat Ujung using TOGA in treating several diseases they suffer. They obtained this knowledge from their ancestors and are still inherited and used today. This can be shown by the fact that there are still several yards of residents who still plant TOGA plants.. In overcoming this phenomena, students participating gave cat whiskers (Orthosipon aristatus) and ginger seeds (Curcuma zanthorriza) to residents' representatives and RT heads. Besides, information was provided and how to use these plants to treat diseases commonly suffered by the people of Tanjung Berkat Ujung, namely hypertension
