Air Pollution, Plant Response And Effects On Humans In The Telaga Bidadari Village

Abstract
Air pollution in the presence of one or more physical, chemical, or biological substances in the atmosphere in quantities that can endanger human health. At present, air pollution has become a concern, because it is caused by the development of home industries that do not know the importance of the environment, especially the insufficient response of plants to the development of the industry. So that it has an impact on air pollution on people living near the cottage industry in Telaga Bidadari village. Climate phenomenon also affects the physiology of residential areas, analysis of the comfort level of the home industry area of Telaga Bidadari Village is carried out using THI (Temperature Humidity Index), the level of comfort is also determined by the presence of plants around the home industry which affect environmental conditions so that the air produced is better. . Based on the data, the type that can reduce the highest air temperature is Ficus Fariegata which can reduce the temperature by 20 degrees and increase humidity by up to 82%. The comfort level according to the comfort index calculation using the Nieuwolt formula in Telaga Bidadari Village reaches a number with an average value of 26.
