Abstract

  The world is currently wary of the spread of a pandemic outbreak of a new type of virus known as Corona Virus Diseases (Covid-19). The World Health Organization (WHO) states that covid-19 has become a global health problem because it can cause severe respiratory infections in humans. Common signs and symptoms of covid19 infection include symptoms of acute respiratory distress such as fever, cough, and shortness of breath. The mean incubation period after infection is 5-6 days with the longest incubation period is 14 days. In severe cases, Covid-19 can cause pneumonia, acute respiratory syndrome, kidney failure, and even death. one action that can be taken to deal with COVID-19 at this time by using traditional natural ingredients found in Indonesia that can be used to improve the immune system, namely Curcuma (Curcuma Xanthorrhiza) This research uses the method of making and implementing methods and the village community of Pantai Hambawang can understand and know how to use family medicinal plants (TOGA) and cultivate TOGA around them and can apply how to make processed foods such as cakes that are consumed to increase body immunity in the current pandemic this.
