Main Article Content
Abstract
As in many other countries, the COVID-19 pandemic has brought many changes to society. One of them is the existence of a new habit that must be carried out by the community, social restrictions. In addition to having a direct impact on medical and health workers, the increase in cases of mental health disorders is also felt by the community. Problems that often occur include symptoms of anxiety, depression, and trauma due to COVID-19. Anxiety is a response to certain threatening situations and is a normal thing to happen. Anxiety begins with a threatening situation as a dangerous stimulus (stressor). Stress is a major factor in the emergence of social and health problems. As it is known that stress has a negative impact, therefore stress management methods are needed to reduce and prevent stress that can trigger negative impacts. Currently, a lot of news that is not yet clear is circulating and makes people anxious. As previously explained, anxiety has many negative effects, including stress. The perceived stress can also affect human physical health, or what can be called psychosomatic.
