Abstract
Self-medication is an initial effort to relieve or treat minor illnesses through the use of over-the-counter drugs and drugs in the limited over-the-counter drug category. Poor sanitation facilities, such as kittens, hospitals, and inadequate sanitation facilities, often encourage people to self-medicate. This activity aims to educate the public on how to obtain, use, and dispose of medicine during self-medication so that the use of over-the-counter medicines can take place safely and effectively so that the community can carry out several functions that are usually performed by health workers when treating diseases with medicines. The activity was carried out in the village of Pulau Sewangi, barito kuala district, South Kalimantan Province, followed by 20 women.
