Socialization of Drug Awareness Family Movement in How to Get, Use, Store and Dispose of Medicines (DAGUSIBU) During the Covid-19 Pandemic in Desa Lok Baintan

Abstract

COVID-19 is a disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, where the spread of this virus is varied and very fast. During the Covid-19 pandemic, it is hoped that people will be wise in using drugs to treat symptoms, speed up the disease recovery process and keep the body's immune system stable. As for the efforts of pharmaceutical staff, namely by providing socialization and information to residents in Lok Baintan Village with DAGUSIBU (Get, Use, Save and Dispose of Medicines). Based on the collection of data and information from residents of Lok Baintan Village, it is known that the people of Lok Baintan Village rarely get information about DAGUSIBU. Therefore, it is necessary to hold socialization about DAGUSIBU. This community service activity was carried out by socializing and distributing DAGUSIBU leaflets to residents of Lok Baintan Village which was carried out from door to door by visiting 20 houses at random. This socialization can increase the understanding of the residents of Lok Baintan Village on how to obtain and dispose of drugs properly and correctly so that they can be applied to their families and the surrounding environment
