Education about Antivirus Medicine During the COVID-19 Pandemic

Abstract

Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a new type of viral infectious disease caused by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Corona Virus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). Currently there is no definite therapy for COVID-19 but research mentions pharmacological therapy for COVID-19 patients by inhibiting the growth of the disease by using antiviral drugs that were used following the therapy during the SARS and MERS pandemics, several years earlier. to provide information related to antiviral drugs during the COVID-19 pandemic which is expected to provide information about potential antiviral drugs during the COVID-19 pandemic so that people do not panic buying antiviral drugs in an effort to protect against COVID-19 attacks because the purchase of antiviral drugs must also according to doctor's orders. The activity was carried out on Sunday, September 5, 2021. the method used was offline and online, for offline technical by giving greetings, discussions, posters and distributing masks in Pemangkih Tengah Village, and for online technical by distributing posters through the WhatsApp group. The results of this study are that people understand what drugs have the potential to inhibit or stop this virus attack, not to panic buying so that there is no shortage of drugs and the public already knows how many doses are given if they have mild symptoms, moderate symptoms, and severe symptoms so they are not surprised. when looking at the number of drugs and doses given while being treated
