How to wash your hand with the hand sanitizer properly and invite people to use masks in the pandemic era

Abstract

The current pandemic condition forces people to maintain cleanliness outside and inside the house. However, there is limited information, especially in maintaining hand hygiene and the importance of using masks, so it is necessary to educate the village community about the importance of washing hands properly and the importance of using masks during this pandemic. SDN Banua Supanggal as one of the schools in Pandawan District, Hulu Sungai Tengah Regency is also affected by this pandemic condition. This educational activity aims to provide insight to the community around Pandawan District about how to wash hands with Hand Sanitizer properly and correctly and to invite people to use masks during this pandemic. Good and correct hand washing includes 6 steps to maintain hand hygiene during this pandemic because washing hands is important in breaking the spread of covid-19 and maintaining cleanliness in the pandemic era. The people of Pandawan District, especially SD Banua Supanggal, were the targets of this activity. The method used in this activity is in the form of direct education for Class 1 students and an indirect method so that the public can directly read about hand washing procedures through placards that have been prepared for people who often come to the principal's office. From this activity, it is hoped that the community has a good understanding of what to do during this pandemic, not only in complying with health protocols, but also in washing hands properly and regularly using masks.
