Abstract

COVID-19 causes a disease that attacks the respiratory system in humans. This virus has infected millions of people, causing high death rates for sufferers around the world. People who do not understand information related to Covid-19 are more susceptible to contracting COVID-19. This activity aims to provide education and information to the community in Panca Karya Village to better understand and care about the implementation of a clean and healthy lifestyle (PHBS) to avoid transmission of COVID-19. Education is carried out by online and offline methods. Educational materials provided to the public include the introduction of COVID-19, how to wash hands properly, how to apply cough etiquette, how to maintain distance, and how to adopt a clean and healthy lifestyle. Educational activities are carried out by providing PHBS education in preventing COVID-19 by sharing and exchanging opinions with the public and putting up posters. The results of these activities show that the education we provide can increase the knowledge of the surrounding community about clean and healthy living habits in preventing COVID-19. This can be seen from the percentage of participants' knowledge before and after it increased by about 100%.
