Abstract

Covid 19 is a respiratory disease caused by Sars-coV-2 syndrom which eventually became a pandemic. The incubation period for covid-19 has a period of 5-6 days and the initial period of exposure until symptoms appear, but can also reach 14 days where the infection is incubation. This virus can be transmitted through droplets containing the SARS-CoV-2 virus which can enter the human body through the nose, mouth and eyes, it can also make direct contact with objects that have been splashed with droplets while the virus is still active. which is used to prevent transmission of bacteria and viruses and to prevent their spread. The purpose of this community service is so that the community understands more about how to use masks correctly and the importance of using masks during the COVID-19 pandemic. This community service is carried out by providing sosialization about the importance of using masks during covid-19 pandemic and by distributing leaflets on social media in the form of Instagram. The results obtained from community service activities are expected to be more understanding about the importance of implementing special health protocols using masks during pandemics such as and the speed of community service running smoothly
