Abstract

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is an acute respiratory infectious disease that has a novel coronavirus etiology (SARS-CoV-2). Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) was found in pneumonia patients in the city of Wuhan, Hubei Province, China in December 2019. The 2019-nCoV infection caused several symptoms similar to SARS-CoV including fever, dry cough, dyspnea, chest pain, fatigue and muscle aches. Health protocols play an important role in preventing the transmission of COVID-19 where the use of masks is one of the health protocols implemented. By wearing masks, it is hoped that the correct use can reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19 to the community, the destruction of good and correct masks is also recommended by the government to prevent transmission from human to human
