Strategies In Online Learning To Increase Young Learners Interest In Learning During COVID-19 Pandemic

Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, interest and motivation in learning English plays an important role in improving learning outcomes, especially English. In this activity the strategy used to increase children's interest in learning in English through online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this activity consists of four stages, namely; the first is to create content, the second is to distribute content, the third is to teach English, and the fourth is to create Youtube content. The results of this activity indicate that the strategy used to increase interest and motivation in learning is to provide some easy learning tips and use interesting and fun media. From online learning, children also get learning from the media they like, besides that the role of parents is very important in assisting children in using online media.
