Preventing the Spread of Covid19 with Cough and Sneeze Etiquette Education

Abstract
Corona virus is a new type of virus that can be transmitted through droplets (splashes) through coughing or sneezing from people infected with the corona virus and can also be transmitted through physical contact (from touch or handshake) with sufferers through touching the face, mouth, nose by hands that are touched. exposed to the corona virus. Symptoms of infection are similar to those of the common cold, which can cause fever, cough, runny nose, sore throat, muscle aches, headaches and severe complications (diarrhea and pneumonia) and if the infection rate increases, it can cause death. To prevent the spread of the Corona virus, one of them is carried out with discipline regarding coughing and sneezing etiquette because this virus can be transmitted through droplets (splashes) when talking, coughing, and sneezing from people infected with the Corona virus. Cough and sneeze etiquette is an action to control the source of infection by keeping secretions from coming out of the respiratory tract so as to prevent transmission. Education is carried out because in the field it is proven that there is still a lack of public attention and discipline on basic things such as coughing and sneezing etiquette. Education on proper coughing and sneezing etiquette is carried out by distributing posters and providing direct counseling to the community. The results of the counseling carried out are so that the public is more aware and understands the importance of discipline about coughing and sneezing etiquette.
