Learning Assistance for Children Through Educational Movie Shows

Abstract
Mentoring is an activity that is often done in the learning process. So that the learning process is not boring and more interesting, it can create a creative learning experience. One of them is the experience through films. Because, children will be more interested in a story that is shown through a film. Children can feel as if they are the main character in the story and children can understand what the main character is going through. This activity aims to provide new alternatives that are used in the learning process, so that children are more enthusiastic about learning by using new methods. The method used in this activity is to prepare educational film venues, prepare equipment such as projectors and laptops, previously the children were informed that the film to be shown was an animated cartoon film entitled Inside Out which tells of a child named Riley who has five emotions, namely Joy, Anger, Sadness, Disgust and Fear which lasted for 1 hour 42 minutes, while watching the film, the children were given food as a gift to welcome this activity. The result of the activity is that children like this film because there are children who did not know about this film before and they can catch that humans have various kinds of emotions offered, as well as introduce a new learning method, namely film, to the children of Danau Karya village. The conclusion of this activity is that it can provide knowledge to the children of Lake Karya, and inspire new learning methods.
