Abstract

Coronavirus disease 2019 or COVID-19 has become a pandemic in almost all countries in the world. The physical and psychological health of individuals and communities has undergone negative changes since the COVID-19 pandemic. In severe cases of COVID-19, it can cause pneumonia, acute respiratory syndrome, kidney failure, and even death. When someone loses their closest person to death. This leaves a very deep sorrow because there is no one to stand beside them with the routines and experiences left behind. Loss is a condition when an individual is separated from something that previously existed or was owned, either partially or completely, leaving his family in mourning. Grieved is an emotional experience that arises as a reaction to the loses of an important person in his life. Everyone will respond to sadness in their own way. So it is necessary to carry out socialization of the handling of grieved and loses after COVID-19. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide direct assistance to the community, and can be a guide for the community in dealing with grieved and loses after being exposed to COVID-19. The method used in this community service is to put up posters and distribute brochures to the community in Danau Karya Village and publish online content to reach all people.
