Importance of Implementing Health Protocol Social Distance in Semangat Karya Village

Abstract

This community development activity was carried out to increase public awareness during the Covid-19 virus pandemic in Semangat Karya Village, Alalak District, Barito Kuala Regency. The method used is lecture and practice. The variety of information used is observation, meeting, and documentation. The result of this community development is to provide a broad understanding to the community of the importance of maintaining distance in the midst of a pandemic in dealing with the Covid-19 virus so that people better understand and minimize the spread of the Covid-19 virus. Satisfactory results were obtained, almost 80% of the children were able to explain again the importance of maintaining distance to break the chain of the spread of the covid-19 virus and apply it directly. The conclusion of the community, especially in the Semangat Karya Village area, is that they can better know and understand information about Covid-19 and can carry out any steps taken to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus considering the positive number of Covid-19 which is increasing every day.
