Abstract

Increasing public awareness about the importance of preventing covid-19 with the 5M movement and staying away from crowds in semangat karya village, Alalak district, south Kalimantan. The method used is education. Before carrying out the initial process activity, which is called observation, we must analyze the problems that occur by finding suitable materials and conducting house-to-house visits. And as a result, the communities, in this case, are able to apply the rules that have been set by the government with 5M movement and they have a better understanding of how to easily prevent the virus covid-19. It can be concluded with the empowerment carried out. It can increase public insight and knowledge regarding the prevention of the covid-19 by always maintaining the 5m movement health protocol (using mask, washing hands, maintaining distance, limiting mobility, and staying away from crowds)
