Abstract

The pandemic does not only affect physical health but also affects a person's mental health. Various problems caused by COVID-19 are considered a new source of stress for the community. When the WHO began to designate the COVID-19 virus as a pandemic,all people felt panic and fear. There are various ways that can be used in the stress management process for the community, one of which is positive thinking that can reduce and control stress experienced by individuals or groups. The purpose of this activity is to educate the public so that they can reduce the level of stress experienced by the community during the COVID-19 pandemic. The method used in this community service is socialization to the Tatah Alayung village community. Based on the results of community service carried out in the Tatah Alayung village. From the results of this activity, residents have begun to understand the importance of positive thinking during a pandemic because positive thinking has a role that can make individuals accept the situation they are facing more positively. Community service with the theme "stress management with positive thinking in the minds of the COVID-19 pandemic" were carried out smoothly and received a positive response from the community.
