Pre Screening Services for Psychological Development of Early Childhood in the Semangat Bakti Village

Abstract

Early childhood development is very important because toddlers are often referred to as the golden age. Early childhood development is not only physical development but psychological depelopment of children is also very important for the optimal growth of children in the future. This activity aims to help parents detect abnormalities in their child's development, as well as provide parents with an understanding of the importance of their child's psychological development. This activity was carried out in the Semangat Bakti Village, Alalak District, Barito Kuala Regency. This activity was carried out in two Integrated Healthcare Center in the Semangat Bakti Village by bringing a pre-screening form for early childhood development. The results obtained from this activity are parents' understanding of the importance of paying attention to the psychological development of children and helping parents to provide early detection services for children's psychological development.
