Abstract
Introduction: Public awareness is the main key in efforts to break the chain of the spread of COVID-19. In order to have public awareness and understand the dangers of COVID-19, it is necessary to conduct continuous outreach in all regions. Then also public education in order to cultivate a clean lifestyle. This socialization can be done in various ways. Educational media through banners are effective in attracting targets to read the contents of the banner.
Methods: installation at 4 points of the Batakan Baru beach area, tools and materials for hammer, nails ½ kilogram, crowbars, 10 blocks of wood, banner Size 100cm x 70 cm 4 pieces.
Target Readers: Beach visitors, local people
Result: Positioning at a strategic point that is visible at human eye level. Installation of the banner in a position that is easily visible from a distance. Banner with a size of 1 x .7 meters is quite clear and can be seen from a distance of approximately 15 meters.
Conclusion: The installation of health protocol education banners and distribution of hand sanitizers is expected to reduce the level of spread of COVID-19 in the coastal area of Batakan, Batakan Village, Panyipatan District, Tanah Laut Regency.
