Learning Mathematics Uses Teaching Aids as An Effort to Increase Students' Understanding of The Pythagoras Theorem

Learning mathematics is one of the subjects that plays a very important role in education. In mathematics, teaching aids are learning media that can help students understand concepts in learning, one of which is the pythagorean theorem. Generally, not too many junior high school students understand the pythagorean theorem, one of which is at smp negeri 1 alalak. Therefore, this community service activity aims to increase students' understanding, especially in class viii of the pythagorean theorem. The method uses in this activity is offline by means of socialization and demonstration in the classroom using props. In addition, the online method is uses to demonstrate the use of props in the pythagorean theorem. The results obtaines from the activity were an increase in students' understanding of the pythagorean theorem which was initially only 46% to 81%. Thus, it can be seen that the use of teaching aids in learning mathematics can increase students' understanding of mathematics subjects by 35%

This proceedings or article is entitled "Learning about Pronunciation of the Correct Alphabet in Indonesian". It can be formulated that the problem is how to pronounce the alphabet correctly in Indonesian. After knowing the formulation of the problem, it was found that the aim was to find out the letters that were difficult and incorrectly pronounced (in this case, it was done to grade 2 students at SDN Tatah Mesjid 1) and to teach the correct pronunciation of the letters. This study uses a mixture of methods between demonstration and question and answer learning methods. This learning process is carried out by the author asking the students to pronounce the alphabet according to their habits. Then it is known that there are some letters that are wrong and the pronunciation is wrong. Then the writer practices the words correctly and writes the letters on the blackboard. From the results, it was found that several letters were pronounced incorrectly and could not distinguish their pronunciation, such as the letters Q, F, P, V, and others.

The village road is a connecting road between locations within the village itself, which is intended to facilitate the mobility of the population in terms of social growth so that the standard of living of the population increases. The problems that occurs in Indonesia today are that many urban village roads are damaged. One of which is Berangas Barat Village, RT.9, Alalak Subdistrict, Barito Kuala Regency, South Kalimantan, where the asphalt surface of this road is stripping and there are also pothles. Therefore, the identification of road damage is carried out as a form of community service by conducting observations or surveys to determine the type of damage and the amount of road damage in the Berangas Barat Village, RT.9. Then the results of the survey were analyzed theoretically. Final result of this community services has identified 90% of the road damage was stripping and the potholes was 10%. Total length of the damage road is 302 metres. The product of this community service was a booklet which can be used as the supporting data for local government in making Berangas Barat’s development plan in the future. With those kinds of damages, the road can be repaired within 10-15 days.

This research was conducted in February 2022, in Belandean village, Alalak Subdistrict, Barito Kuala Regency with total respondents are 11 children. This research was conducted with KKN team. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The results showed that; 1) In the category of accuracy in holding color tools is 63.63%. It means that most of kindergarten children are right in using color pencils 2) In the category of completing coloring activities is 72.72%. It means that the average of completing coloring activities is in a timely manner.

Citizens' efforts in building their country and nation can be done by instilling a culture of writing and reading from an early age. Children who will become future successors must be educated about literacy culture so as not to fall behind in the field of science. This research is a community service activity carried out in several stages, namely observation, preparation of activities, then the implementation of activities carried out face-to-face using leaflet media. The evaluation method is carried out by quantitative methods, namely data analysis obtained from respondents totaling 15 students of SDN Lok Rawa. The results of the activity show that children's knowledge of literacy is low. The purpose of this activity is an effort to provide education to children with basic education on the importance of reading habits and implementing a literacy culture. The results of the activity showed that the sixth grade elementary school students in Lok Rawa village had low knowledge of literacy. From the evaluation results, it can be concluded that efforts to increase literacy culture must be carried out starting from the most basic level, namely children, parents and schools play an important role in efforts to grow children's interest in literacy culture.

Neighborhood markers are important to indicate the address of an area. The absence of neighborhood boundary markers may cause difficulties in dividing and addressing the village. Hence, this community service intended to arrange neighborhood markers in Berangas Barat Village to improve the quality of physical marking. In this community service, RT 09-10 were chosen as a pilot project due to its problems with damaged roads which make it even more difficult to identify each RT. Field surveys and interviews were done before designing the markers. As a result, this community service produced two boundary markers to arrange and improve the physical boundary marking in Berangas Barat. After installation, a series of interviews were conducted with the local community to evaluate the signs and the feedback from the local community was very positive, they hope the local government pays more attention to the facilities in their village.

The design submission process uses print media in the form of a design book which is then submitted to the Sungai Ramania village apparatus. One solution that can be given is to design an online learning area which is expected to be able to add to the impression of being safe and comfortable in learning. In making a design or design, surveys and data processing are needed so that it becomes a design that is able to be a solution and in accordance with the design objectives. The current teaching and learning process is partly done face-to-face and partly online.
