Health Education to Increase Faith, be Safe and Immune in Pandemic

Abstract

Corona viruses Disease 2019 (Covid-19) is a new type of disease that has never been previously identified in humans. Corona viruses are a large family of viruses that cause illness ranging from mild to severe symptoms. There are at least two types of corona viruses that are known to cause diseases that can cause severe symptoms such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS). The virus that causes Covid-19 is called SarsCoV-2 (Ministry of Health, 2020). Pandemics are not an excuse for being unproductive, so it is important to continue to learn and remind each other to be smart and educate. Health education in increasing faith, security and immunity or what is often referred to as 3W (mandatory faith, mandatory safety, and mandatory immunity) is one of the comprehensive efforts to avoid Covid-19. Health Education Activities in Increasing Faith, Safety, and Immunity during the pandemic were carried out on Saturday, February 6, 2021, at 04.00 – 05.30 pm at the secretariat of the Youth Organization, Kemuning Village RT.17 RW.04 Banjarbaru Selatan. The target of health education is children and adolescents. Education plays a major role in handling Covid-19. In addition, information about prevention efforts and disease severity can also be provided to increase awareness.
