Managing Stress During the Covid-19 Pandemic

Abstract

Understanding about stress and how to manage stress during the Covid-19 pandemic is very important for human life in order to maintain mental health during this pandemic. Social distancing is necessary to reduce the spread of Covid-19, but it can make us feel isolated and lonely. It can increase stress and anxiety. Learning to cope with stress healthily will make us become more resilient. Prolonged stress will have an impact on physical and mental health, and if it is allowed to reach a level of fatigue that will cause immune system failure. The purpose of this program was that the society was able to understand stress and how to manage stress during the pandemic. The method used in community service is online education. During the activity by providing education to the people of Beringin Village through education from social media. Based on the results of this study, it was possible to understand education about stress and how to manage stress during the Covid-19 pandemic through social media. The conclusion of this program was villagers understand education about stress and how to manage stress during the Covid-19 pandemic after educating the public to better understand and be able to apply it.
