Education On The Importance Of Using Hand Sanitizers During The Covid-19 Pandemic

Abstract

Covid-19 is a disease outbreak caused by the Corona virus. This epidemic has now become a world problem, including Indonesia. Activities are needed that can educate the public about the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle to prevent the spread of the corona virus. The purpose of carrying out this community service activity is to educate the public about the importance of clean and healthy living in order to avoid contracting Covid-19, one of which is by educating the use of hand sanitizers, and increasing public understanding to always use hand sanitizers both at home and outside the home. The method used in this activity is education about the importance of using a Hand Sanitizer for the prevention of the corona virus, practicing how to use the Hand Sanitizer properly and correctly. The target of the Community Service Program is the people of Central Puntik, Mandastana District, Barito Kuala Regency. The result of this activity is that the community has begun to understand the importance of Using Hand Sanitizers during the Covid-19 pandemic.
