Abstract
Storage of drugs in the community, especially in household units, if not followed by correct knowledge of drugs will lead to irrational use and improper storage methods. Surveys in several countries, especially developing countries, show that there are inaccuracies in drug storage, including storage of antibiotic items and ethical drugs without a doctor's prescription, and storage in inadequate locations. In addition, another study also mentions the importance of keeping household medicines out of reach of children. The implementation method used is divided into several stages: Socialization / provision of education on how to store medicines properly and correctly by means of counseling at the posekesdes and visited the respective houses of residents in the village of Anjir Hilir Mesjid Barito Kuala. And distribution of leaflets when delivering education to local residents. In this community service activity, it can be concluded that there is a need for more education about proper and correct drug storage because there are still many residents of Anjir Hilir Mesjid village who do not really understand and still store drugs in random places and are still storing expired drugs. Only a small proportion of them have correctly stored the medicine in the medicine container / box
