EDUCATION ON THE IMPORTANCE OF WASHING HANDS DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC IN DESA PUNTIK TENGAH

Abstract
COVID-19 is a disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus which is part of the Corona virus type. This virus can be transmitted if we come in direct contact with an infected person or with fluids secreted by coughing and sneezing. This study uses observational methods and literature studies from journal publications. The results of the research on giving poster in Desa Putik Tengah were carried out for 1 day on Saturday, February 6, 2021 with a total of 50 residents who received poster. In conclusion, it can help people gain insight on how to wash their hands properly and raise awareness for the community to always adopt a healthy lifestyle according to health protocols, especially in washing hands every time before or after doing activities.
