Training Of Making Antiseptic Spray with 70% Alcohol and Baby Oil as Hand Sanitizer In Youth

Abstract

Covid-19 is a disease outbreak caused by the Corona virus which has now become a world problem, including Indonesia. There are several efforts to prevent Covid-19, one of which is washing hands with soap and using hand sanitizer. However, there are times when it is far from soap and water that a substitute is needed to keep it sterile. Hand sanitizer is the most appropriate substitute and is one of the equipment needed today. The purpose of this activity is to provide knowledge to the public about how to make hand sanitizers during the Covid-19 pandemic. The target of this service activity is young women (14-15 years) in Banua Tengah Village, RT 14, Tanah Laut Regency. This activity was carried out 1 time with three stages, namely: preparation, implementation and evaluation. The results of this activity indicate that the target of this activity is able to make their own hand sanitizer. Making hand sanitizers can provide solutions and real steps to be able to make your own hand sanitizers if there is a shortage again and most importantly this is one way to prevent the COVID-19 virus.
