Maintaining Mental Health During the COVID-19 Pandemic

Abstract

Since the world was shocked by the emergence of the Covid-19 outbreak which began in Wuhan, China in December 2019, until now this virus is still a global pandemic. Everyone who needs to maintain mental health to avoid physical complaints that arise due to stress. Given that the impact of COVID-19 has reached many people, the World Health Organization (WHO) in March 2020 released guidelines for the community to jointly maintain mental health. The methods used are socialization to the community and online-based educational methods that target social media users (Instagram and YouTube). As a result, the public is expected to increase knowledge about maintaining mental health during the COVID-19 pandemic through posters posted on Instagram and YouTube videos regarding tips for maintaining mental health in the face of COVID-19. In conclusion, maintaining mental health during the COVID-19 pandemic is very important because it is not only physical health that needs to be maintained but also mental health
